Reflection
This was a great opportunity for me, because it helped me find resources that I will be able to use in my future classroom. The websites gave me a clear picture about each of the five pillars of reading. I learned that reading development is a constructive process. It's important to go through the following pillars of reading to help a child become a fluent reader. I have come to understand that these online teaching tools provide me with a variety of strategies to teach my students in a creative and active way. I want to assess not just the product of my students work, but the process they went through to complete the projects that they did. This is a great way to see where my students are individually in the learning process. This will help me find the online tools that I need to fulfill my student's needs.I believe that developing a relationship with each of my students is another way of getting to know their learning style and finding out how they interpret information. This project helped me find resources that could possibly help me to teach my students in ways I might not have thought about before. It was interesting to discover all of the creative ways possible to make learning fun. There are so many sources out there for teaching that I didn't know about before. This project was time consuming, but overall it was a good experience for me.
